Winery website without coding: Wine list, farm-gate sales and shop behind a QR code
Most visitors to a winery want to know the same four things: Which wines are available, how much do they cost, when is it open, and how do I get there. You don't need a large homepage with an agency and maintenance contract. A well-made page for the phone is sufficient — and a QR code on the wine list, signboard, business card and carton that always leads there.
What belongs on the winery page
- "Latest" at the top: Young wine presentation, farm festival, *ausg’steckt* (sign indicating fresh wine is available) — with date, after which the page shows the notice itself as expired
- A few sentences about location, family and working methods
- The wine list by categories — white wine, red wine, rosé, sparkling, sweet wine — with vintage, grape variety and price
- Times for farm-gate sales and tasting, with lunch break and the notice "Open now"
- Address with route button and phone number to tap
- Buttons to online shop, tasting booking, Instagram or review
How the page is created with Same-QR
In the dashboard, select the "Winery" template under "Create website". The categories White wine and Red wine are already set up; add further ones like Rosé, Sparkling & Champagne or Wine packages with a tap. Under each wine, there is a row for vintage, location or taste profile that is free. Those who already have a printed wine list can photograph it and have it scanned, then only need to make corrections.
Every price can be changed at any time; in the paid plans also appearance, font and colours — there the template starts with the colour scheme "Wine" and a serif font. The printed code remains the same — it points to the page, not to a fixed content.
One code, many places
| Where the code is placed | What the guest is looking for |
|---|---|
| Farm sign and entrance | Is it open? When again? |
| Wine list in the tasting room | Prices, vintages, packages |
| Carton and shipping insert | Reorder in the shop |
| Business card and trade fair stand | Contact, directions, Instagram |
Separate winery page and e-label
One point is often overlooked: The e-label with ingredients and nutritional values must not show sales or advertising content. The shop button therefore belongs on the winery page, not on the e-label. Same-QR has two separate templates for this — "Winery" for everything around the farm, "Wine e-label" for the mandatory information per bottle.
And the right homepage?
If the winery already has a website or gets one later, simply change the target of the code. The printed codes on signs, cards and cartons remain valid. The hosted page is therefore not an either-or, but a beginning that grows with you.
Frequently asked questions
No. The page is hosted by Same-QR and has a descriptive address from the name of the winery. The QR code leads directly there.
Yes, at any time in the dashboard. The change is online immediately, the printed code remains the same.
The page itself is not a shop. It links via a button to your existing online shop or to an order by email or phone.
