Prepare wine e-labels for many wines: Type less with the assistant and CLI
What belongs in the e-label
Since December 2023, ingredients and nutritional values for wine may appear behind a QR code instead of on the label. The page behind the code must be free of advertising and sales content. Same-QR provides the Wine E-Label template for this purpose: one page per wine with the name, vintage, and winery, as well as an ingredient list and nutritional values, without buttons or offers. It cannot be completed without an ingredient list.
Step 1: Collect data
Create a table with one row per wine: name, vintage, ingredients, alcohol content, and other nutritional values per 100 ml. The values come from your analyses and calculations, not from the AI. Our article on the nutritional values of wine describes how to calculate alcohol content.
Step 2: Create using an assistant
With ChatGPT or Claude and Same-QR as a connector, you enter the table into the chat:
"Create a wine e-label in Same-QR for each wine from this table. Copy the values exactly as they are, do not convert anything, and do not invent anything. Do not publish; show me the list first."
Or via the command line
sameqr seite create --vorlage etikett --name "Grüner Veltliner Ried Steinberg"
sameqr seite update wine/<slug> --datei veltliner.json
sameqr seite publish wine/<slug>"seite create" outputs the address. You send the content as a JSON file with "seite update". Its structure is shown by "sameqr seite get wine/<slug>" on a fully filled-out e-label. To publish, the operator details must be filled in.
Step 3: Check before printing
- Open each e-label on your mobile phone and compare it with the table.
- Create a code for each wine that points to the E-Label, for example with "sameqr qr create --name 'E-Label Veltliner 2025' --seite wine/<slug>".
- Test print on the actual label paper and scan test at the size that goes on the label.
Counted anonymously
With E-Labels, Same-QR only counts how many times the code was scanned. Even the short-term hash, which other codes use to avoid double counting, is omitted here. For the legal classification of your labels, contact your trade association or qualified legal counsel.
Conclusion: why Same-QR
Same-QR makes E-Labels feasible for entire product ranges: a template that consciously avoids advertising, setup via assistant, CLI, or dashboard, individual codes per wine, and counting that stores no data about people. The values remain yours, the tool handles the hard work.

Frequently asked questions
Do not rely on the AI for this. The values come from your analyses and calculations; the assistant only transfers them.
Yes, one E-Label and one code pointing to it for each wine. For a new vintage, you can change the target of a code.
No. That is why the template at Same-QR consciously has no buttons, offers, or sales content.
