Create a hosted page with AI: Set up links, hours, and contact details in a conversation
What a hosted page is
A hosted page is a small, hosted web page that Same-QR provides for you. You do not need your own website, hosting, or programming skills for this. Guests reach it via a QR code at the table, at the door, or on a flyer, or via a link in your profile.
To create a hosted page, you select a template, fill in the content, and publish it. With an AI assistant, this can also be done in a conversation.
Overview of the templates
- Menu: daily special, categories, dishes with price and additional line.
- Price list: for services, such as in a salon or workshop.
- Opening hours & directions: hours for each day of the week, address, phone.
- All links: buttons to menu, reservation, Instagram, and more.
- Promotion: an offer with conditions and expiration date.
- Contact: a form through which guests send enquiries.
- Winery and wine e-label for winemakers.
Create a page in the conversation
Connect an assistant like ChatGPT or Claude to the Same-QR MCP server at https://sameqr.com/api/mcp. Authentication is via OAuth. Then describe the page:
- “Create a page with all links for Café Lindenhof. Buttons: Menu, Reserve table, Instagram, Google review. Here are the addresses: …”
- “Create an Opening hours & directions page: Tuesday to Saturday 8:00 to 18:00, Sunday 9:00 to 14:00, closed on Mondays. Address and phone: …”
- “Create a contact page where guests can ask about parties and groups.”
The assistant creates the page as a draft. Provide the facts instead of letting it guess, especially regarding addresses, phone numbers, and links.
Review and publish
Before the page goes live, have it shown to you and check:
- Does each button lead to the correct destination?
- Are the address, phone number, and times correct?
- Is the text concise and free of exaggeration?
To publish, the operator details must be filled in, i.e., who is behind the page. Then you say “publish”. In the Free plan, the number of changes to published pages per month is limited. You adjust the appearance, i.e., design, font, and colors, starting from the Start plan in the dashboard. A contrast check warns there if text would be hard to read.
The QR code for it
Finally, the page needs a dynamic QR code: “Create a QR code for the new link page.” You retrieve the print file in the dashboard as PNG, SVG, or PDF. Because the code only points to the page's address, you can change the content later at any time without reprinting.
Conclusion: why Same-QR
For many businesses, Same-QR replaces their own website: eight templates ranging from menu to contact form, hosted, mobile-optimized, and behind a QR code that remains constant. With an assistant, you create a page in minutes, without any technical knowledge.
Try it yourself: sign up for free at sameqr.com. Two dynamic QR codes are free forever, no credit card needed, the paid plans can be cancelled monthly, and your guests never see ads when they scan.
