The questions that come up before your first QR code.
What is a dynamic QR code?
The printed QR code points to a fixed address on our side, which forwards the scan to your actual destination. You can change that destination anytime in your account — the QR code itself stays valid.
Is there a trial?
No – the free plan is permanent instead: 20 dynamic QR codes with two destination changes each, 1,000 scans a month, no credit card. Paid plans can be cancelled monthly, or at the end of the year when billed yearly. Every QR code you created stays scannable.
Are scans really unlimited?
On every paid plan, yes: what is limited is the number of QR codes, not how often they are scanned. The free plan includes 1,000 scans a month. Beyond that your QR codes keep working at first, but visitors see a two-second note “Created for free with Same-QR” before the destination. If it stays above the limit for more than 7 days, they show only a notice until the end of the month; you get three warning emails before that. There are never ads.
Can I cancel monthly?
Yes, with monthly billing at any time, effective at the end of the current billing month. Paying yearly saves you two months; you can still cancel at any time, and the plan runs until the end of the paid year.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The free plan with 20 dynamic QR codes requires no payment details.
What happens to my QR codes if I downgrade?
You do not have to delete anything. QR codes within the quota keep working; QR codes above it are paused after 14 days — a scan then shows a notice instead of your destination, and they come back the moment your plan covers them again. We write to you three times before that happens.
