QR Code Generator PRO: Export codes and import into Same-QR

What can and cannot be exported

If you are looking to export codes from QR Code Generator PRO, you will find two things in the help centre (as of October 2026): The scan statistics can be downloaded per code as CSV, via "Options → Download as CSV". And in the Professional and Enterprise plans, the code images can be downloaded together as a ZIP file.

A list of all codes with names and destination URLs as CSV is not described there. This does not mean that it cannot exist in your account; check first yourself. If you do not find one, create the list as described below.

  • Scan statistics per code: CSV, according to the help centre.
  • Code images together: ZIP, according to the help centre in Professional and Enterprise.
  • List of all codes with destinations: not documented according to the help centre.

Create the list yourself

Open a spreadsheet in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets with three columns: Name, Target URL, Labels. Go through the old account code by code and copy names and destinations into it. With a handful of codes, this is done quickly. Labels are optional, e.g., "Branch North" or "Table tent"; separate multiple ones with a vertical bar (|).

Note the old qrco.de link in a fourth column. It will help you later with the bridge. But delete it before the import so that Same-QR does not read it as a destination.

If you no longer know which printed code belongs to which entry: take a photo of the code and upload it in Same-QR under “Read a QR image”. Same-QR reads what is in the code, i.e. the old short link. Where that short link redirects to, you can see in your old provider’s account.

Prepare the spreadsheet for import

  • Header exactly like this: Name, Target URL, Labels.
  • Every destination URL completely with https:// at the beginning.
  • No additional columns with addresses, so remove the old short link before importing.
  • Save as “CSV UTF-8”, then umlauts remain preserved.

Comma or semicolon as separator is recognized by Same-QR automatically. You can download the appropriate template from the dashboard.

Import into Same-QR

In the dashboard, under “Many codes at once”, you will find “Import a spreadsheet”. Download the template there, enter your codes and upload the file again. The template has three columns: Name, Target URL and Labels. Comma and semicolon both work as separators; separate several labels with a vertical bar (|). Labels that do not exist yet are created during the import. CSV import is part of the Start plan and above.

After uploading, Same-QR shows how many codes were created. The number of codes is limited by your plan: Start 25, Pro 150, Agentur 1,000.

The easiest way is the migration assistant under Dashboard → “QR codes” → “Move from another provider”: it reads your list as a CSV or Excel file, lets you assign the columns name, destination URL, old short link and labels, and creates the codes, as many as your plan allows. Afterwards you download a list “old short link → new Same-QR link”, which is exactly what you need for the bridge. An overview of switching is at sameqr.com/wechseln/en.

Check and next steps

  • Sample checks: scan some new codes with your mobile phone.
  • Bridge: at the old provider, set the destination of each code to the new Same-QR link under “Destination”.
  • Save scan statistics per code at the old provider as CSV.
  • New printed materials with Same-QR codes, replacing the old ones gradually.

And if you ever want to switch again: At Same-QR, “Export all” always exports the entire list as CSV, with Name, Destination URL and Labels, in every plan.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to export the code images from QR Code Generator PRO?

Not for the migration. Same-QR generates a new image as PNG, SVG or PDF for each code. You only need the old images at most as proof of which print corresponds to which code.

What do I do with the old qrco.de link in my list?

Keep it in a separate copy for the bridge, but remove the column before importing. Otherwise, Same-QR might read the column as the destination.

Can I take my old scan statistics with me?

Generally no. Save the statistics before cancellation with the old provider, as far as they offer an export. In Same-QR, the count begins with the first scan via the new code.

Can I export everything later with Same-QR?

Yes, with "Export all" in the dashboard, in every plan. The CSV file contains Name, Destination URL, and Labels.
