Multiple branches, one assistant: Manage menus centrally
The problem with many menus
If you operate multiple branches, you know this: The menu is almost the same everywhere, but only almost. Here a different lunch menu, there a regional dish, at the station different prices. Managing menus centrally does not mean making all menus identical, but rather seeing at one place what applies where and bringing changes precisely there.
Order with labels
At Same-QR, each location has its own hosted menu and its own QR codes. Labels keep things together, up to 200 per account:
- One label per location, e.g., "Downtown Branch" or "Station Branch".
- One label per type of code, e.g., "Table", "Door", or "Flyer".
- Clear names for each menu, so that even an assistant can find them unambiguously.
Changes for all locations
With ChatGPT or Claude and Same-QR as a connector, changes across multiple menus become a single sentence:
- "Increase the price for the house cappuccino in all three menus to 3.90 and show me the list of changes beforehand."
- "Remove the pumpkin soup from all menus except the Downtown Branch."
- "Enter a new daily special in the branch menu for Bahnhof only."
For chains with their own IT, the REST API is available at /api/v1: A POS system can read, modify, and publish menus. When making changes across multiple locations, it is especially important to first display the list and then confirm. Otherwise, an error will affect all branches.
Evaluation per location
Because each location has its own codes, Same-QR counts scans separately. An assistant answers "How many times was the menu scanned in each branch?" directly from the statistics. With a "read only" key, this can also be incorporated into a regular report.
Who is allowed to change what
- One person authorizes price changes for all locations.
- Locations manage their own daily specials.
- The kitchen, which cooks the dish, checks allergen information.
- Each program has its own API key with only as many permissions as necessary.
Conclusion: why Same-QR
Same-QR gives you everything you need for multiple locations: a hosted menu per branch, labels for organizing, separate scan counts, and changes via dashboard, assistant, or API. The printed code on each table remains the same.
