QR code contact form: inquiries from trade fairs, flyers, and posters without your own website
At trade fairs, at sales stands, or on flyers, the path from interest to inquiry is often too long. Business cards are collected and never typed in, and emails go to addresses that no one reads. A QR code that opens a short form directly shortens the path to a scan and a few fields.
What makes a good contact form
- Few fields: Name and email as mandatory, phone, company, and message optional
- A clear button that says what happens: “Request callback” instead of “Submit”
- One sentence about what the interested party receives and when
- A note on who receives the data and how to revoke it
Every additional mandatory field costs inquiries. Ask only for what you need for the first response.
The “Contact & trade fair” template
Same-QR has a dedicated page template for this. It includes name, subtitle, a short text, the form, optional buttons to the website or catalog, and address with phone. In the form, you choose:
- which fields appear: Name, Email, Phone, Company, Message
- which of these are mandatory
- the text of the button, such as “Send enquiry”, “Request a callback”, “Request information”, or “Request an appointment”
The interested party sees the field names in the language of their phone.
Where the enquiries land
Submissions appear in the dashboard under “Enquiries”, you receive an email, and you can download everything as a CSV file for your CRM or spreadsheet. Only the fields you request are stored, no IP address and no device data. Each submission is automatically deleted after one year, and you can delete individual entries at any time.
Data protection
You, as the operator of the page, are responsible for the data. Therefore, the page requires a valid email address under “Who runs this page?” so that visitors can withdraw their consent. Without it, the form cannot go live. Whether you need additional notices is something you should clarify with your data protection advisor.
Plan
Forms are included from Gastro Pro and Marketing Pro onwards.
Conclusion
A QR code with a contact form turns a conversation at a booth into a usable enquiry. Keep the form short, clearly state what happens next, and export submissions regularly. You can try it out at sameqr.com.
