Save commission: direct ordering via QR code

Why the direct route matters

Delivery platforms bring you guests, but every order through them costs you a commission, depending on your contract. An order by phone, WhatsApp or through your own shop has no platform in between. The simplest lever is to offer the direct route where guests are already looking: on your menu, right after scanning.

What the “Ordering” block does

The menu and the “Opening hours & directions” page in Same-QR have their own “Ordering” section. Anything you leave empty does not appear on the page.

  • Order directly: a call button, a WhatsApp button and, if you like, a link to your own ordering shop. These buttons always sit above the delivery services.
  • WhatsApp with a prepared text: the guest gets “Hello, I would like to order:” pre-filled in their language, in German, English, French, Italian or Spanish.
  • Delivery services: Lieferando, Wolt, foodora, Uber Eats, Mjam, Just Eat / Takeaway, Deliveroo and Glovo, in the order you choose.
  • Pickup and delivery as a note, plus delivery area and minimum order in the currency of your menu.

Safe links, no third-party logos

For each delivery service, Same-QR only accepts an https address on that service’s real domain. A link that points to a different site behind the name “Wolt” is never saved. The buttons show the service name as text in the colours of your page, without third-party logos or brand colours. Phone numbers are checked and normalised before saving.

Ordering hours: no calls into the void

You choose whether orders are always possible, during opening hours or during your own ordering hours. Outside these hours the buttons are greyed out and the page tells the guest when ordering opens again, for example “Ordering possible tomorrow from 11:00”. The time used is the restaurant’s, not the phone’s.

Order at the table with your ordering app

If you already use a table ordering app, Same-QR links it to your menu. It is not an ordering system of its own, just a button to your provider. You create one QR code per table in a single step. Whoever scans it sees “Table 4 · Order now” at the top, and if your provider’s address contains the placeholder {tisch}, the table number is inserted there.

On the pizza box: the print template

For delivery and pickup there is an “Order now” print template, as a 90 × 90 mm sticker or an A6 flyer, both as vector SVG for the print shop. It contains your dynamic QR code for the page. If you later change your phone number, shop or delivery services, the printed sticker stays valid.

See which route is used

Same-QR counts how often each ordering button is tapped, as a plain total per channel: no IP address and no cookie. From the Start plan you see the numbers in the editor, for example “Phone 12 · WhatsApp 30 · Lieferando 8”. The buttons themselves are included in every plan.

What is deliberately not included

Same-QR does not sync your menu with delivery platforms. Their interfaces are only open to contract partners. The buttons lead to your page on each service; you keep your dishes and prices there as before.

How to set it up

  • Open your menu in the dashboard and scroll to the “Ordering” section.
  • Enter your phone and WhatsApp number, optionally your own shop.
  • Add delivery services and paste the link to your page on each service.
  • Choose ordering hours, publish and download the print template.

No. The ordering buttons are included in every plan. The statistics on which channel is tapped how often are available from the Start plan.

Does Same-QR store who taps an ordering button?

No. Only a total per channel is counted, without IP address and without cookie.

Are my dishes transferred to Lieferando?

No. There is no syncing of the menu with the platforms; the buttons link to your page on the service.
